W124 Worn out threads on oil drain pan hole

My oil drain plug will not tighten properly. I can't get a snug seal. The threads are toast on the oil pan I guess.

Im going to try the dealership for screw that has more teeth on it. The one I have is only coated half way.

Suggestions...

Re-thread and use over sized plug.

All I needed was the updated plug from the dealership!

It has the threads all the way down the screw instead of half way.

It hasn't dripped anymore but then again it has already been drained im going to fill it back up tomorrow and hopefully start it. I just finished a major engine rebuild...
