Question Replacing the factory receiver in 1993 300E 2.8?

Dear all:

Have anyone here ever replace the factory receiver with an aftermarket one? Is it difficult to replace/install? I'm thinking about buying one from crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_020CZ10...ion-CZ100.html). But on this page it mentioned that for this specific model/year of car I have, I need to:
  • Bypass your factory amp by running new speaker wires from the stereo to the output side of your factory amp
  • You will need to route an antenna extension cable from the receiver to the factory antenna in the right rear of the vehicle.
  • The factory tuner/amp module is located in the right rear corner of the trunk

Being first time DIYer for my Merc, I'm a bit concerned about how difficult it is to replace/install the car receiver myself. Could anyone please comment on this? Also, is it easy to locate the factory tuner/amp module, and route an antenna extension cable from the receiver to the factory antenna in the right rear of the vehicle?? Could someone maybe post some photos (or even videos) about this? Many many thanks!
