lemme start off by saying that i know basically nothing about cars
i just bought a 1991 300E for $5000
it has 88k miles
my dad wanted me to get a mercedes for safety reasons, and since we can't really afford a new one i found this one
it seemed pretty cheap so at first i though it might have problems but i had a mechanic check it out and said the engine was perfectly fine
u think this is a good deal being my first car?
I wanna make it look better....can u guys gimme some ideas on what i could do to improve appearance or maybe performance?
i was thinking on getting some AMG wheels
what are some of your suggestions? where can i buy or view them online? what is the approximate price range on em??

300 E is an excellent car, I think the best upgrading you can do is to make it looks like 1994 or 1995 model, in order to do that you have to change :
1. Front hood.
2. Front lights.
3. Back lights.
4. Rear bumber.
5. Rear trunk.
Try to visit (www.dhc.net) you'll find there multible photos of another owners MBs, then you can choose the best modifications you want.

To find AMG wheels, try www.tirerack.com. There you can see your car in various colors (I think for the 300E you can only choose white, silver and beige) and compare different wheels on your car. You can also shop for tires based on the wheels you have chosen.
