Latest changes on my ride.
-Facelifted and new headlights..
And hopefully my new grille will arrive soon also, here is a photoshop of what it will look like. Same as Sindre's above here..
I am also looking for those eyelids you've got Sindre, and I've got a AMG II frontbumper that I will put on as soon as I get it painted.
The headlights will get LED and xenon bulbs also shortly..
If only the snow would go away, I want to get my summer rims back on now too..

I donno.. I thought of changing the headlights but I didn't find anything that looks better than the Euros it was fitted with.
I'd never put HIDs on a car that didn't come equipped with the lens, like the W124. The older BMWs all come with that lens so HID'ing it is fine, you're not changing the look of the car. But with those headlights you've got, you have...
Each to his own taste, I guess. I like to focus more on the mechanics of the car than the way it looks. Except for rims. Always need rims. :P
ps: Don't get me wrong, they're not ugly. They just don't match that car! (in my opinion)

Fair enough. I was on a mission here to change the looks of my car, not expecting everyone to like it. So your opinion is well received here
I just wanted a look out of the ordinary, guess I've succeeded with it.

Enzo, my Benzo
Yeah I had the smoked version of those lights on my car for a while (back to euros now) and I also bought the black ones you have....the innards stand out too much with the black ones you have. I'd do a slight smoked 3M film to reduce that if it were my car.

That is exactly what I had in mind also, a tinted 3M film to reduce the chrome glare from those "eyes", and also to reduce the wear of the glass itself since it is plastic. It will probably look very matte after a season on dusty roads, much easier to replace the 3M film rather than polishing the glasses back to its original state I think.

Think your car looks great with the headlights you have, with the black/silver combo and all. But it is possible the black headlights would look just as great. More aggressive perhaps.
I am on the search for the eyelids you've got on your car, found them on a swedish site priced at about 450sek a pair.. Don't know if that's a bargain or not?! Personally I found that rather expensive, but they are just impossible to find elsewhere..

90 300E, 03 E55 Black designo, 06 IWC CLS55
long time since I posted here,
my 300E with original AMG kit and suspension from 1991. I also have the original Aero I rims in black but prefer the Aero II at the moment. I also have another set of Aero II rims in Anthracite grey, will upload pics with those on when I put them on soon. All genuine AMG, no replicas or copies.
done a lot of work on this car and still work never stops. A pleasure though.

Here are a couple of photos of my car.
I believe the wheels are called AMG Monoblock II's, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Staggered 18s.
I made a mistake of not getting exact sizes before I installed them, but I will do so when I take it in for alignment next week.
Intend to get it some new shocks and springs, but I don't want to lower it.
