Please, tell me about your 200D?
I have 260E - I want switch engine for 200D.
I am not sure about Differential?
I try look for that & can’t find information.
May is same just Tires size different?
Please if you can look in your Owner manual - Differential Ratio & what is the Tires Size?

Hey guys,
Here is mine, its an 86, got it a couple of months ago, so far fixed almost all of the functional items and now im tackling the suspension. I have vogtlands on order and searching for a deal on bilstein sports. While at it, quite a few suspension arms need to get swapped as well. I cant wait for it to get nicer here in Toronto to get a set of rims and stickier tires. Im trying to find someone up here for proper tint as well. Slowly working to make it nice.
If anyone has some dark tan doorpanels from the later models, please let me know.
Pete

Hey all, 1st post on this forum..
Here's a happy snap of my W124.
Picked it up about 3 weeks ago.. Slapped the rims on last week, and gave her a good buff & clean up...
Everythings stock except the Springs & wheels: Enkei - Bortex 19x8"

What a great forum. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and helpful hints. I couldn’t wait for Summer weather so here are some current pictures….
AMG rims - 17x7.5 front and 17x8.5 rear
Kumho ECSTA ASX tires - 225/45R17 front and 245/40R17 rear
Euro style headlights
sportline coil springs
engine mounts
struts
shocks
drag link
tie rods
idler arm
steering dampener
front control arms w/ bushings and ball joints
rear suspension links
brake rotors and pads
fuel level sender
fuel filter and accumulator
fan clutch
rotor/ignition wires/spark plugs
airconditioning
Most of the work was DIY.

The real rare ones are the clones. It is cost prohibitive to do it to a w124. But it has been done. To do a clone would take between 14 - 20 grand. You could buy a real one for less.
There is at least one more white one here in Atlanta. There was one in Florida on ebay last year.
There was a white clone in Michigan. Here are some pics. of it. These are not pictures of mine and if you study you can easily pick out the differences as most people think the fenders and bumpers are the only changes. Let's say a 500E is almost a completely different car.
