lip under the bumper is bought from rp-glasfiber.com .. a firm in northern Sweden are they doing, you can buy such displays to a 500E in the carbon fiber in them.
Click on (I write the link in Swedish so you know where to click)
Europeiska + Övriga bilar ... Mercedes .. Mercedes 500E .. Mercedes 500E Spoiler fram ..
It costs 2100 in Swedish currency, approximately $ 300.
I hope you can understand what I write, I'm not so good at English grammar, but here goes some more pictures of my 500E.. a couple

Rial wheels are really nice, there are some who have wanted to purchase them but I can not think of any other wheels that fit better on the car than these.

Thanks for nice comments. The Wheels are 18x8.5 et 35 215/40r18 all the way around. Plenty of room in the back for wider tires with fender roll. front could do 225 with fender spacers. front has fenders rolled. springs are cut r129 (sl500) springs ( 2 coils all around) smallest spring pads. Shocks are sport shocks for up to 60mm drop ordered from Ebay.de (germany).

1991 560SEC AMG & 1995 E420 & 2013 BMW 535i DINAN & 1967 Cougar
I bought mine - the 1995 E420 shown on this forum for the first time, at the end of July 2011 but aggressively tackled everything it needed to be fine, including new paint on the roof, front and rear hood/trunk/bumpers and now it looks sensational in and out, like new in fact, and added a Lorinser spoiler, 17" AMG rims, 40% TINT, and a E500 Remus exhaust and euro amber front blinkers and wired in a couple of Porsche horns in place of the factory ones that sound way too much like a VW beetle to me.
I love driving it, too, it is very quick and corners wonderfully and not a squeak or rattle to be heard. Quite an appetite for the Premium Persian Perrier, I admit, but it's a sensational car in every way. even coming up fast on 144k it simply looks and feels like a new car, though for the most part it is actually the oldest car on the road you see. Last of the truly cost no object build quality/ fit and finish/durable/ long distance interstellar long distance driving E class cars, and utterly unmistakable for ANYTHING other than a Mercedes Benz, a lovely example of Bruno Sacco's iconic styling achievements.
I had bought it for a grocery getter, run about car but it has evidently stolen my heart and become the favorite driver in my little fleet.
I have already run up 13k on it, taking it everywhere, and now, it even draws comments from passersby when parked.

I believe the w124 is definately "the" car to own and drive.

1994 E320 Coupe
1994 E320 Coupe
Hello! This is my second W124, first time as a coupe. I purchased it 6/2011 for USD $5300. It needed a lot of engine work. I decided to post some before and after pictures of my W124 coupe. I've upgraded the following:
1. Wheels to AMG Monoblock II's 18x8 and 18x9.
2. Tires are 215/40/18 fronts and 245/40/18 rears.
3. Lowered the car with H&R springs and Bilstein shocks.
4. Tinted windows at 40% and windshield at 70%.
Upcoming upgrades:
1. Repaint all BLACK including lower cladding.
2. Upgrade stereo to full audio/video entertainment sytem.
I do have a question. I just lowered the vehicle yesterday. There's a fairly loud humming noise in the front that happens when turning at slow speeds (under 35 mph) and sometimes when stopping. I don't feel any grinding while breaking. I still have to get it alligned with the new tires and lowering. Does anybody have any idea what the humming noise could be?

Beautiful car RonTorres. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Regarding the humming I am pretty sure it is rubbing from the front tires you car hear against the inside of the wheel arches.. In some cases the wheel might not be centered in the wheel arch, and you get rubbing from the cladding behind the frontwheel or the frontbumper in opposite case if the wheel is pushed too far to the front. This is adjustable, and it might get better after a wheel allignment, if not rolling the fenders might do the trick. You can also pull out the fender slightly by using a "AMG" fender spacerkit.
