I've seen some people who have done european delivery who leave the plate they used in europe, and then just put the US plate over it once it gets shipped here.

I sold my 91 300TE 4MATIC then purchased a 94 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab 4x4 4.0 V6.
Glad I did. Much less expensive to maintain, better 4WD system, and more useful for hauling items.
The rear of the cab has a pull out cover to hide valuables
And fold down seats to fit "small" passengers
Actually purchased this @ $2000 less than I sold my TE for.

Does anyone in Europe, shipping a vehicle in from the US, leave the US state plate on and put the European one over it?

But I don't think anyone in Europe wants any of the crap we have to offer, so its sort of moot point.
I wasn't defending people who wear euro tags in this country, I was simply informing you of something you didn't know.
I'm not a big fan of the euro plate either on the front or back, but if someone wants to leave it on there for the sentimental value to remind them of their trip, I don't see anything wrong with that.
P.S. - Why are you comparing a Ford truck with a Mercedes wagon? And also posting (seriously)unneeded pictures...
Sort of apples and oranges don't you think?

It' s a really HAMMER (1986), 5.6L AMG V8 32v, with 57 000 kilometers, so 36 000 miles.
Inside electric recaro.
It' s the "ex" car of Michele Alboreto.

this monogram is original.
By cons, with time, the black paint was gone over.
Please do not forget that it is a question of a 300E drive base prepared by AMG.
In addition, it is not badged AMG spoiler.

Avez-vous d'autres photos de l'interieur ou bien des photos montrant le moteur?
