Please do tell how you made those wheels fit especially when the offset is 25!!!
I have 28 on 17 x 8 right now and they are flushed with the fender in the rear and stick out a little in the front so I wouldn't be able to lower mine like yours.

When i got the wheels I thought they were never going to fit
Luckily a good friend of mine is a body expert,
so when we restored the car for rust we ROLLED the fenders to the max.
as the car was going to be painted we could really push it.
Front fender is pretty soft and quite easy to roll that much.
On the rear fender it is easy to roll the first horizontal edge, but to roll the vertical edge out is a pain in the a..
because the inner fender holds it
more pics of the process here

Wheel testing in 4th and 5th row of pictures
The silver E-class is my brothers, we put one of the FRONT wheels on the back, when we lowered it from the jack, it rested directly on top the wheel

I'll do my best with Spec's since I have only done the wheels and tires since owning it.
Definitely lowered, not sure with what springs, their black and quite low if that helps. Front shocks are SACH and back are Boge,Body kit is Lorinser with lower panels from 91+, wheels are Brabus Replicas from OE Wheel Distributor 17x8 ET37, tires General UHP 225/45/17. Interior stock, but not sure if seats are from a Sportline or not, the back isn't but the fronts have leather magazine holders behind them not mesh. Euro Headlights. Has been repainted SwartzBlack, and the interior is black
Has 254000kms on it and runs beautifully. Some little things need doing, but will get there with time.

I would not paint them red, i think it would not suit your car and make it look tacky, your car is just too clean. I would paint them silver.
PS please tell me the offset and width of that rear wheel... thanks!
edit: post more pics of your car man, front view, etc. i just love hpow clean it is...

i really cant get over how nice those rear wheels look... i had no idea 8.5 wide wheels would fit so perfectly, that too with a 245 tire... i went the conservative route but now really want a staggered setup...
