W124 E-Class Picture Thread
UGH... im calling tommarow to try to get this sorted out. the damage is not noticeable at all.. like i didnt even notice when it first happened.. its just a bent grille and like some minor things that need to get fixed but JUNE.. thats forever away..
I have 28 on 17 x 8 right now and they are flushed with the fender in the rear and stick out a little in the front so I wouldn't be able to lower mine like yours.
Luckily a good friend of mine is a body expert,
so when we restored the car for rust we ROLLED the fenders to the max.
as the car was going to be painted we could really push it.
Front fender is pretty soft and quite easy to roll that much.
On the rear fender it is easy to roll the first horizontal edge, but to roll the vertical edge out is a pain in the a..
because the inner fender holds it

Wheel testing in 4th and 5th row of pictures
The silver E-class is my brothers, we put one of the FRONT wheels on the back, when we lowered it from the jack, it rested directly on top the wheel

I would not paint them red, i think it would not suit your car and make it look tacky, your car is just too clean. I would paint them silver.
PS please tell me the offset and width of that rear wheel... thanks!
edit: post more pics of your car man, front view, etc. i just love hpow clean it is...
i just bought a buffer from kragen and went to town on it tuesday.
i think ill do em black instead.
and yeah i took a bunch of pics today but didnt wanna bore anyone...ill upload em all now....
Glad you liked the wheels.
The offset and size of those wheels are perfect for the W124.

by the way - the rear tire size is 245/40-17's
Now we're offically gonna roll deep to the Rosebowl meet. hahaha
dude...i just saw how many posts you have on here, and im pretty disgusted.
