i know this but untell i have a job again i cant do much right now. what i have done is get it running again i had to put a new belt on it all that ash is from my dad and me he still drives it. he left it for 5 months in the sun and had not washed it 3 years all that dirt is from going up that road to get these photos also today i washed it and cleaned it out and all the ash. also ashing out the window here in cali is a 250 doller ticket last i looked thats the last thing i or my dad needs. trust me i saved the car from death he was going to have it junked and torn apart becuz he is lazy and cant fix any thing. and the light cover is becuz he hit a truck when parking. i love this car and will never do any thing to kill it. this is how i got it and this is not how it will look in 2 years i plan to re paint put in a new motor a v8 if i can find one off a new benz hopefully i can find a junked one and i plan to rebuild the inside of the car to.the car runs strong still and can still do 135 or 140mph

Ha ha....close, but there are some subtle differences (including the fact that he's 1/2 way around the world).
1. Front fender turn indicators
2. 18" Monoblocks (I've got 17s)
3. Tail lights are the ones I WANT!
4. Clear corners
5. S600 style grille
....a pic of mine from the ATL meet...

Just bought this 1991 300E other than needing a hood ornament its nearly cherry. Get this: 54,000 ACTUAL one owner miles! Previous owner was a winter resident here is south Florida and was only driven in the winter. To make things better I paid WELL below KBB.
I like. Looks lowered a bit.
Nice Buy!!!
Is that the St. Petersberg/Tampa causeway in the background?

Runs like a top! It does that thing where you have to start off in 2nd gear to make it move then put up in drive, but other than that it shifts perfectly and purrs driving down the road. Absolutely everything on this car works too! I'll take some under the hood shots soon. The background in the pics is Charlotte Harbor from the Punta Gorda side.
It didn't come from the factory that way and the missing wipers would be the least of the issues.Sorry, need to start adjusting parts to see if they will line back up.

I agree.

I believe Zed is referring to the fact that NOTHING (no panel) lines up properly with the others parts on the front end of your car.

if you park next to another car like yours and look at them together, you'll see what i mean...

Yes! look at where your hood meets the top of the fender, the hood is sticking up, and where your lights meet the hood, they're not lined up properly (big gap between the lights and hood, not supposed to be like that). even the wiper panels are not straight... also look on your driver's side (your car is RHD, threw me for a sec), you'll see the bumper is sagging off the supports a bit, plus the bumper itself looks like it was probably re-sprayed.

Many thanks, Zed, mbenzman...I already checked my car in detail, and yes, both of you're right, some part as you discribed not isntalled properly. Well, I think it must be a front end collision but hopefully it was not a really a huge crash because the engine block seems still the original one (although the radiator is newer than it should be)...
