It takes a little soap and free water to keep the car clean. Vacuuming is also free.

Your car may be broken but that doesn't mean you can't keep it clean. I'm in college too and I can relate to not having cash all the time. Think of it this way, if you don't take care of it now it will screw you over later on. Oh, not to get on your case or anything but if you're in college you might want to spell/grammar check your posts. Along with your car's appearance, that too tells people the kind of person you are.

Wow. You guys are seriously bashing on this kid for no reason. He has legitimate reasons for not keeping up his car to your standards.

Sure, it good use a good cleaning, but I think the fact that he cares enough to come onto the internet and scope out a forum to talk about it, means he obviously does care.

The craziest thing is, after all the put-downs he hasnt even gotten defensive about it.

We should be welcoming him, along with any questions he may have.

Anyways....Dont wanna start a flame war, so check out these

Riv - It's all good bro, and we're not bashing him, truth be told where truth be told.

Your car looks supreme, clean up the grille and you should be near perfect. I've gotten used to my headlights and have actually grown to love them, they've yet to let me down

Yeah Im aware of the grille. It bugs me everytime I get near my car.

Im not sure whats up with the mounts on the lights, but I looked yesterday and it looked like the driver-side was sunken back an inch or so. I didnt have time to really look cuz I was on my way out of town.

Should I powdercoat my wheels black too when I get the grille done?

I know a guy who will do the whole job for just $120.

I would keep the wheels the same color. If you made everything black it would start looking like the patrol cars in robocop. I think you've got the mixture right on this one. No need to add more ingredients if you already have it right. Just powdercoat your front grill and you'll be set. BTW are you on H&Rs or Vogtlands?

Welcome Geh,

Take advantage of this picture thread to get modification ideas for your own W124. There are MANY things you can do like suspension, grilles, headlights, bodykits, tail lights, clear signal lights, spoliers, wheels...

Best of luck.

I dont know...I think it would look good, and bad. The good would be your benz is now murdered out...but you would have to eliminate all chrome and paint black. But I love the metallic silver color now...but yeah, if I had it...i'd paint the rims black and make the tint darker...lol just my opinion
