hey all.
Just joined the forum here and seein lots of awesome 12fos.
bought about 2 months ago.
started with fixing:
removed dings
engine head seal
switches
starter
fuel pumps
air conditioning restored
all ignition, plugs wiring
interior vinyl re-pulls
lots of rubber parts like antenna seal etc, trunk bumpers etc..
so as of yet the only thing I have had time to do aftermarket is:
air flow to k&N
wheel upgrade to AMG 17" potenza RE 050 45's
interior points to AMG accessories...trim, pedals etc.

did those wheels rub at all? i want those on my yet ungotten w210 wagon.
are those side indicators from a clk or mlk? are your the kind of rounded/tear drop looking ones?
holson
your car looks great with or without the us indicators. have many pairs do you have? want to part with one of them maybe.

chrome rings and white gauges
Thanks guy, that means a lot! With regard to the white gauges and the chrome rings. The gauges come from www.nrauto.com and the chrome rings came from matrixcar.de.
As far as installation is concerned, the ease of it will depend on how mechanically inclined you are. You have to remove the whole speedo/dash assembly from the car and remove the electronics from the plasic housing for the gauges which are adhesive.
As for the rings, I had to remove the lens from the housing to get those installed. I literally had to "break" the lens away from the housing as from what I could tell, there was no way to simply detach it without doing so. I had to just push from the inside until it somewhat cleanly broke apart! Maybe someone else on the board knows of an easier way, but that is how it went down for me.
Cali,
If you don't mind, where did you get the Wald kit and how bad including paint and install did it set you back? That joint is HOT!!!

Out Of Control!!
pifcat2 is right about the needles being the hard part. I had custom gauges made (Evrything is black set on white background and has //AMG in the middle w/ blue LED bulbs) for my W124 and if you dont put the needles (Painted them black) back on right you need to get the gauges recalibrated.

You guys are right. the needles have to be removed/reinstalled properly or there will be trouble. Make sure you have a full tank of gas also. The whole thing was not that bad, but nothing I would want to do again if I did not have to.
