sorry, am slow in the mornings, just started reading those other threads you left me... and yes i work at a dealership but im a porter=valet... all i do is move the pretty (and sometimes extremely raggedy) cars that ppl bring in... am doing my best to learn about working on Benz's from the techs, (mounted and balanced my own wheels for instance, big accomplishment for me bc they didnt want to let me touch the machine at first ) will scour the insides of the wheels after I do a thorough wash today... as i found them in someone's backyard, they are very very dirty... Also, not to doubt Mbenzman's skillz, but did you see any cracking or spiderwebbing in your fender paints when he rolled yours? Chappy you are turning out to be my bestest buddy on here , so full of fun, useful advice

Thankyou Thankyou! Your ride isnt so shabby yourself! .... I wont really be happy until I fix my snaggle-tooth front air dam though, it looks goofy

i have 35% tint on my whole windshield ! thanks for the comments guys
i miss the insane speed of the C43, but at the same time, i dont miss the speeding tickets, and the daily gas prices haha! this reminds me of my First mercedes, i had a 94 e320, im sure if u search hard enough, ull find the pics of when i smashed it into a civic... haha it feels good to back in a W124!

on a less disgusting note, has anyone thought about attempting to order the right hand drive wing mirror to eliminate "Mr. Stubby"??

Enzo, my Benzo
You'd have to replace the glass too because the concave "objects in mirror appear further" etc is only on the passenger side...simply ordering the RHD version would give you flat glass and huge blind spots.

hmm... valid point... but blind spots only apply to ppl with their rear seats up and headrests on! ive got good enough field of view turning my head that i feel i could handle that... may just be me though

I would actually rather have 2 stubbies. Otherwise, you could just buy one of those little attachable dome mirrors to open up your field of vision.
Besides, if youre always checking your mirrors and looking over your shoulder before changing lanes the way you should be, no one is going to be able to sneak up on you without you knowing.
Ive driven a few newer cars on the other hand, such as the dodge magnum and charger, that Im always afraid to merge in. No amount of mirrors or rubber necking is going to eliminate those oversized pillars.
