I've recently swapped the engine mounts.

I was wondering, do they just get tightened as they are one placed, or should the engine be rocked/turned on etc before tightening the bolts?
ie, so that the mounts "seat" properly?

 

The process that I used successfully was to loosen the transmission mount first, then replace the engine mounts with slightly snug bolts, then give the engine a couple of good shakes from each side, then torque the engine mount bolts to spec and re-torque the transmission mount to spec.
