ASA Type 8 Replica wheels OK?

Anyone ever used these before? Is it a 66.6mm bore?

I have been looking for something that is a little bigger/wider than stock for E320 coupe. Currently running my 16x8 500E wheels but they are a touch to big, I like the idea of buying a new wheel over messing with used ones. Been there done that.

Looks like they're the right mercedes center bore as they do not include centering rings and come with OEM mercedes centercaps

Thanks for the info guys.

I am not to concerned about the weight. These are actually made in china it says, I may call Tirerack get some more details. I just didn't know anything about ASA.

what ISN'T made in china! ASA is a korean company, they started off as a collaboration with BBS, i remember their early wheels used to have 'ASA by BBS' on them. Not sure how closely they still work together, but as far as aftermarket wheels go, they are generally of higher quality than the more generic names, at least in my experience.

Apologies

Sorry for the mis-leading info on ASA origins.

Thanks for pointing it out. I have deleted the post.

I expect that wheels offered by TR would be ok - they don't want to lose customer confidence on safety-related parts.

Asian manufacturers are only "self-regulated".
