Ok, new here---and reletively new to MB ownershipr, so a rather odd question: How are the interior pillers surrounding the seat belts removed? The vinyl is peeling off, and I want to take them to be recovered. Any help is appreciated, as I dont want to damage the parts during removal.

well other than the stuff you can take off around it, it should pop off with if you pull it

Pull the two screws out of bottom and it pushes up toward the roof to come unhooked from the clip at the top

What this guy said! You'll have to remove the seatbelt anchor too, as it runs through the pillar. I can't remember if it uses a conventional bolt or something unique - been too long since I wrenched on a 124.
