Finally went to Lebanon for a couple of weeks and had some work done.

I got the pre-facelifted hood, grill and headlights installed. I also painted the grill in black and got the amber indicators.

Changed the injectors and seals oem ones, changed the fuel pumps oem ones (wanted to go for the bigger ones but didnt see the real benefits). I also changed the fuel filter and the small filter that goes into the fuel distributor.

The alternator had died, so i got it rebuilded for the moment but im looking for a 150A one.

Changed the rotors and pads front and rear. Since i have the calipers, rotors and pads from a C32 amg, i tried to install it but finally didnt. The pads are exactly the same ones found on my car but the calipers and pistons are double the size and the rotors are larger. So the pads only cover around 50%, i found that a bit weird and decided not to install the C32 setup for now. Is that normal? if yes...why the need of the larger vented rotors if the pads only cover a bit of it?

Started refurbishing the evo 2 wheels...still need painting so didnt install it yet

I will attach a few pictures of the car later on.

Simply because there is a town in the USA called Lebanon and since i Live in Canada, some members on some other forums got confused. So now when i introduce myself i precise that the car is in Lebanon (the country). Nothing major

a while ago I got a set of bosch pilot yellow foglights and i will be installing these on the amg front bumper see how it looks.

The thing is, they got different part number from the regular bosch foglights that fits on the amg gen 1 front bumper. Here is the part number Bosch 1305620436. while the part number i know it fits is 0305406902 (yellow) and 0305406901 (clear).
I hope they will fit...they look identical..

This is how i bought it. I do have another airbox with twin inlets but it have a crack in it.

In the brochure and catalogue i bought from germany, there is some pictures of the engine bay with twin inlets and some with single ones.

The info available on this car is not precise since it is a pre-merger car ...

Here is some new pictures of the car after the changes up the front. let me know what do you think? a lot better imo

And about the rear sls suspension, on idle, i hear a clunk from time to time coming from the left rear wheel side. Any ideas of what it could be? what are the part number of the accumulators anyways?

Thanks! The interior will probably be redone as soon as i get time and funds. It will look a lot fresher with a new interior, specially in the front. I might also install an oem armrest with storage since the car doesnt have a glovebox.

anyone on the accumulators of the SLS??

The correct Bosch clear driving ( not fog light) should be 0 306 407 101-730.
HWA 201 820 0156.

Main difference is that the mounting is from the center rear of the housing.
They also have the plastic side lenses to fill the bumper opening.
The lights you pictured have a lower mount which will preclude mounting i the GEN I bumper.

The 1305620436 that you post should be for just the glass lens

Where can i get those ed? and what are they worth?

I found a set of those HWA on ebay germany and it will be around 300$ shipped. A bit too much for now. (other priorities)

on many threads they mention that those would fit
http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-03054069...=5336118859-20
Which they look exactly as the ones i have, but i dont see how will they fit since they have the mounting upwards (like mines) while the gen 1 bumper needs lights that can bolt from the middle...???

I bought a set from Germany but it didn't include the rear housing that accepts the center back mounting bolt.

The yellow driving lamp is very hard to find.

Also purchased over a year ago a complete set of clear driving lamps for about $100.00 from an EBAY seller in Hong Kong.
The set included the lamp assembly, correct rear housing, relay, switch and wiring harness.
That's the part number that I posted earlier.

You need the back mount housing as that is what fits the GEN I bumper.
The latest Bosch catalogue I have only shows fog lights with the back mount.

what spark plugs should i get?
on the amg plaque, its written Bosch F6DCO, Champion C7CC.
I think they no longer make those, but can get F6DC from UK.
I am also planning on changing the spark plug wires too, with oem part (if anyone knows the part number it would help with the online shopping) There are too many to choose from!!

Now since im back to Canada (and work) i sent the amount to my kind little brother and he went to check if they are still available and.....

black oem aero wheels!
and amber tailights.

one of the wheels have a problem with the valve stem and i cant find a new set to replace all 4 valves. If anyone can point me to the right direction it will be great

will those work ?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/330376413271...84.m1423.l2649

I beleive the oem valve stems part number is HWA 129 400 01 13
