1987 AMG 300E TURBO PROJECT
Original documents still exist with some cars that were modded by AMG North America at one of their four locations.
It's this documentation along with the stickers on the cars that maintain the provenance that make the individual vehicle valuable.
This particular vehicle has been vetted over the years as a Westmont build.
Hartmut Feyhl was the AMG NA Technical Director who now is at Renntech in Florida...
There have been instances in the past where he has confirmed builds of some of the Westmont cars !

i say 10 000$.
When i turbocharged my regular M103 it costed around 5000$ and the labor was damn cheap, and it wasnt a 100% job at all and no dyno or tuning at all.

I wouldn't turbo it, keep it original...
Very few shops in the USA are able to successfully turbo a M103-12V.
Biggest problem even with the period kits from TurboTechnics and Mosselman was and still is the fuel enrichment.
Even more important with the higher AMG CR.
You need a dyno to establish the AFR map.
Run lean and you trash a valuable engine !!!
If you are serious and in the Atlanta area then you should contact Jonothan at Blue Ridge MB...

As I said before dude. There is a Russian VIN site but I'm not sure if it is up & running......very unreliable wackers! If you did manage to look it up though, being a 92' it should have some interesting facts. Per-merger, it's pretty useless I'm afraid.........
