Cold air intake

Hello
I would post this on the R129 forum but its mostly dominated by the V8's and you guys have more knowledge with the M104
I am currently awaiting the delivery of a BMC CDA airfilter and my question is,
is it viable to purchase another BMC CDA airfilter and run them on each side of the engine bay connected by a Y-pipe at the throttle body

Why?

Your stock air intake provides more then enough volume for an unmodified M104-24V.

sort of similar to this setup but with ceramic coated aluminum pipes with a Y-pipe at the throttle body

Why not leave it alone until you install the supercharger?

The whole dynamic as far as AFR will drastically change after you boost the motor.

the general consensus is that this setup will gain little to no extra power, most prob gona stick to one BMC CDA airfilter until the supercharger arrives
