The 500E front sway bar is only a valid upgrade for the 400E/E420. Otherwise it's not worth it. For six-cylinder cars, the LWB (limo) front bar is larger. Full details on all the 124 bars available are at this PDF file:

Note that Rusty's price is probably higher now, since Mercedes has jacked up their prices several times in the past 9 months. The Euro to USD conversion doesn't help, the USD is weaker right now.

Try calling Ed at Carriage House MB in New London, CT....my favorite dealer...tell him I sent you (he's my neighbor) and if you are a MB USA Club member you'll get at least 20% off list and maybe free shipping....just so you can price shop.
