Second opinion needed on 500
I recently posted that my car was revving a little rough at start up, occasional misfire, and the fact that I can really feel the engine at a light. I am coming from a W210 E55 that was quite a smooth running engine. My mechanic loves working w/ the 500 and wanted to inspect it for me. He had it hooked up to his diagnostic machine for a while, no codes stored and spent an hour giving the car a thorough look over, found nothing. He mentioned "93 octane these days is mixed w/ ethanol and can make the car run differently". He said my 500 is running fine, any input? He is a highly qualified Mercedes tech but was hoping a fellow 500 owner could give some feedback.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Check the
spark plugs.
The issue you have described on a normally otherwise mechanically sound M119 engine is the use of non copper oem plugs F8DC4
Look at what is installed replace if needed and get new connectors also common issues on the old Iron Engines.
m104 m119 hate platinum plugs.
