No Heating from center vents?

For the first time I noticed there is no heating from the center vents in my C124.
Is this how it's meant to be?
If so, then why?

Thanks

Yeah, never heat from the center vents. To keep you from falling asleep!

Turn the dial below 75F (so its at White) and you should feel those vents kick back in.

So on full heat (control dials are at red)they blow cold air, but at warm (white) they will blow warm air?
To be honest it seems like in a cold environment (where it snows etc) the heating on the car would be insufficient.

Wait, are you serious? If that's legitimately the reason, I am going to SHOOT my HVAC guy.

The center vents provide direct fresh air only, and in a cold invironment such as here in Norway I use to close the fresh air vents to get enough heat inside my car during wintertime. Just scroll the wheel between the airducts and close the airflow from them, in the summer I leave them open usually since I have no aircondition..
