What's the mileage? And do you have any paperwork for service?

I checked this car out actually runs and drives beautifully and doesn't need much to be turned back into a gem but the wife won't let me take on yet another project ;(. Thanks for your cooperation and good luck with the sale

Dynamic, You are a car dealer but your wife wont let you buy a $3500 car that runs and drives beautifully?

You "read" about this car last night at 1136pm. You raced to see the car within 18 hours of that post.

What, then you called mrs car dealer, and she Laid down the law, huh?

Something about this car and your testimony give me pause.

I live in Long Island and this car is in queens near my mothers residence, very close to me and I'm in that neighborhood often and also I own 12 cars and if I bought this car me and my wife know I would not be trying to sell it. Also my dealership does not sell salvage or salvage history cars. I don't see what's wrong with that picture. I also own the same car and was checking it out for myself as an additional or maybe one of my car enthusiast friends might have been interested. And again I see nothing wrong with this situation.

The shopping + endorsement just smells fishy to me, so I am off this thread.

When you checked it out, did you ask the seller what was happening with the trunk lock area under the licence plate?

Looks like it was cut out. Was this a stolen, crashed, stripped car?
Did you see the title?

He says he purchased the car just as it is, and your right looks like it was cut out for sure, car also has a salvage title but I didn't see it. Also the rear bench seat was also missing.

Im not sure what is going on between dynamic and RHW.

I bought the car from an auction( salvage title, check the vin which i posted a pic of) over the winter as a project car to be ready by summer time (i couldnt wait to drop the top!). And just as luck would have it, an opportunity came up for a bmw 840ci. So, i have the 840 for the summer and want to sell the convertible. its a clean car other than the body work and its simple work nothing complicated so that why i bought it(didnt want an overwhelming project). The lock mechanism was missing when i purchased it, but the dealer will issue a new lock upon proof of registration.
