So I hit a guardrail in my 1986 european-import 300D today, which you can now see clearly imprinted on the front. The interior's seen better days as well, so I'm not inclined to invest more money into this car. That said, the engine runs great, the transmission is good, etc. I broke the radiator in the accident, but it still starts and drives. I'm posting here to see if anybody has any interest in purchasing this car for parts, or perhaps selling a W124 chassis with a blown engine that I could swap parts into. I don't really have a place I can keep a car in this shape for long, so if there's no takers it's probably headed for a junk yard.

Update: Sold, for a whopping $150!

It's definitely not in good shape, but could have been a lot worse. I was not hurt at all even not wearing any seat belt. Go Mercedes.

The car is currently located at my residence in Mount Airy, Maryland.

Here's a picture:

Check your tires kiddos... It was rainy out and I noticed after the accident that my rear tires were getting kinda bald... A couple hundred bucks could have saved a few thousand.
