We have had a '00 E320 for a couple of months and love it. Now we're thinking about buying bro-in-law's '97 E320, but has a couple of issues I want to correct before purchase. Since we are fairly new to the MB's family and to this forum, have mercy with explanations. The first issue is that the front pass seat is stuck all the way forward. When I press the door control to move it back, it starts sliding on the left track (side by center console) but it is stuck on the right track (by door) as if something was blocking that track, but is clear. This just happened 2 days ago and it was working fine before. I know someone out there can help. Appreciate you assistance in helping me troubleshoot this issue.
