95 E420 warning lights
Hey, I have a 1995 E420 and the ASR light comes on occasionally (more on than off at this point) which I understand puts the car into a sort of limp mode. Also on the instrument panel to the right of the Brake warning light there is another amber warning light which has a circle with dotted lines to the left and right of it. This light flickers and I am wondering what this light mean?
I didn't get the owners manual with the car to find out what these lights mean.

I believe the amber light you described indicates your brake pads need replacing. There's a sensor in each caliper, and once the pads wear down, the sensor illuminates the warning light on the dash.

I'm still going into limp mode on occasion, so I'm going to clean the wheel sensors while I'm checking the brakes.
