91 300ce with a fuel problem help!
hi i have 91 300ce thats beens sitting for 4 years now will crank but not start up was running great till i put in it the garage i check the fuel pumps and there good put a new fuel filter and a new battery and it still wont stay running if i spray ether in the injectors it will start up as soon as i stop spraying the engine cuts out any suggestions please help!!!!!

You might have a faulty fuel pump relay. It might be a long shot, but its a good place to start looking as these relays tend to get burned circuits inside.. Or it might just be bad connection on it after years of no use.. Just test it by changing it with a working one.

Check the OVP relay as it works in tandem with the fuel pump relay.
These relays look for a speed signal that will keep the fuel pumps running.
If no speed signal is seen and transmitted by the relay then the engine will start but only run for a few seconds.
First check the fuse(s) on top of the OVP.
If the fuse(s) are fine then pull the relays and see if it has a rattle in it...no rattle then try jumping the pins which complete the circuit to keep the fuel pumps running.
If the car runs then it typically is a bad relay.
