Help on Price

Hi all;

I am considering this car:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2601659373.html

Do you think the price is fair? If not, what do you think is a fair price?

Many thanks

Ben

It looks immaculate. I think it is a fair price to pay for a clean car, with a clean title. Most importantly, the seller has posted ALOT of pictures to prove how clean the car is, which is a symbol of his confidence in his car. That is a very good sign that it was well taken care of.

I'd ask for service records in last 10 years...

Suspension work, headgasket, harnesses, transmission, evaporater, etc, are all part of potential failure needs, especially if none were already addressed at this age.

These cars can be made to look superb even when they are not. So if car is as he describes, he will have said records, and car was serviced as needed and yea, then, I'd take a looksee even at that firm price.
