Search the forum. The cars are reliable if taken care of properly, as is the case with any machine.

Some years and engine combinations had certain reliability issues others didn't.

Also, that is not a 190e as your signature says. That should be a 86-89 300e/260e judging by the lack of cladding. Give us some more detailed info and I'm sure we'd be happy to help you better.

94 Wagon and 94 Cabriolet
You'll find the ride uncommonly rough if those are 19s,
17s are the usual large size, 18s for a few.

2006 C55 AMG 6 speed
The man is talking sense. Besides the definite rubbing you will have (if not fenders, inner mudguards) it will ride horribly. Not to mention those wheels are HEAVY. Get them off it, slap on a decent pair of 16s or 17s that are NOT cheap knockoffs, and you WILL notice a difference.

When I went from my heavy AMG Monoblock 18's back down to the EvoII's, the car really felt like it got significantly peppier.

Honestly, the stockies are better than those...

Other than that, the car looks decent. I wouldn't have traded a 97 GTi for a W124 260E, though... :P

Oh, and your first goal should be to install Euro headlights. Especially since yours have yellowed.

It will look MUCH better.

What are euro headlight.. sorry guys I'm new to this.
As for the gti, I traded it cause it had a bad reverse gear, needed front shocks, paint job, hood, A/C, speedcable, ect ect. This e300 is in way better condition.

The 19's are amg wheels not knockoffs and I will be selling them as soon as possible to get a set of oz opera II in 18x8.5 and 18x10
