Determining if 500E harness has been replaced

I came across a 500E that looks to be in very good condition. After going through a few of the threads here it seems like the thing I should be most worried about checking is the wiring harness. Does anyone know if there is any way to tell if the wiring harness has been replaced? If not can I pretty much assume I'll need to take care of it if I buy the car?

The car I'm looking it is at a dealer and unfortunately they don't have any maintenance records. It's a '93 with 120k miles, and the carfax shows a lot of maintenance visits, so I'm hoping it won't have any serious issues.

Are there any other things I should watch out for when I go to look at the car? I think I also saw in a thread that the timing chain guides can go?
