It is definitely made for the 300CE !
Instructions are specific to Mercedes Benz 300CE.
The screws pass through the inside of the outer bracket down into the flip up holes in the roof of the coupe !!
The fitting sheet says model RM031 which I think they may have renamed the RMX031. For sale here AUD$309. Maybe check Rola USA see if they can get some in for you.
Will start the search for a used pair if you like ?
