W124 94 E320 Wiring harness source
Hi I need to replace the injection wiring harness and I'm wondering if anyone has a source for it other than the dealer. I need the earlier 1244405632 part and the dealer is charging $1,100. I've looked on ebay and did a search for it on the net and have found nothing but "universal" kits.
Please help

I think the two used ones on the board have sold. For a dealer source, try www.mercedespartscenter.com. $798 for a new, genuine 124 440 56 32 MB harness. I found that they were less than anything on ebay at the time. I got mine there.

Thanks for the info. I found a used set on eBay for $450 and he claims it's a updated set made after 2000. I'm just not sure if I want to go with a used set and risk having to change it again after a year or two. I'll definitely check out the website you gave. Thanks again.

Look I just ran into the same problem._My fix@ $100 and a weekend.
Harborfrieght tools.
-Wire rack
-heat gun
-2 pack of pre cut heat shrink
-heat gun
Sodering iron
Soder
12 pack pepsi
Do one wire at a time!
Start at emc plug- trace the wire, cut wire on the harness just before the dry rotted area, measure old cut off peace of wire to lenght of new wire. stripp the ends. Place heat shrink on wire (slide back away from area to be sodered.) Twist end together, Sodier, then cover with heat shrink.
I just did mine this way this past summer and it looks great. and didn't cost me the $2500 Mecedes of Orland Park, IL quoted me. Oh dont forget wiring loom. and at the conections for the sensors everything fits in a casing and is sodered tgether. Real simple
