Hello - '87 300TD - My mechanic tripped the alarm by mistake, didn't know how to turn it off, and removed the alarm horn. Got the car back and the rear wipers didn't work (they did work before though).
1) Where was this horn located?
2) Is there a connection to the rear wiper, rear wiper washer, not working and the alarm. My fuse box says the rear wiper and glove box light (which is also not working), and cigar lighter (not in car) are the same fuse #1 - but the fuse looks fine to me - but no mention of the alarm for any fuse. Is the alarm horn also part of this relay/fuse?
Thanks,

On my 93 300 CE Cab the alarm horn was mounted near the ABS unit on the drivers side inner wheel well.
Thank Klobbr - Mine turned out to be a bit further back- right next to the fuse box - you could see where it was looking from the top down.
Didn't entirely figure out the rear wiper thing - messed around with stuff - removed the fuse tried a different one (even though it looked fine) - put the original back in. Tried half heartily to open the box with third brake light and the wiper motor...nothing seemed to work - but then in the end the wiper started working. I'm sure this is how it will go - will work fine when not raining but when it rains it won't work
