its official, im going h&r.. but i need help

so my mechanic officially said i need to change my flex joints, and rear shocks/front struts, strut mounts...

he said the strut mounts are cracked and might go through the hood soon..

how long do i have? :P

so since i need to change the struts/shocks i was going to change the bushings as well

so i plan to go h&r lowering springs later on, as my shocks/struts are more important (or should i just do em at once?)

he says my bushings are fine, and when i asked about joints he said their fine too

but i want to change them for precaution.. what bushings/joints should i get looked at? is there any aftermarket that is recommended?
shocks/struts i plan on going bilstein HD's all around
and for strut mounts im not sure.. is meyle hd sufficent?

and if i change my swaybars to sportline (front and rear) will that be sufficient? or do i have any other options? (later on)

Don't wait, you really don't want to find out just how much time you do or do not have. They're cheap enough. I got the Myele HD set to replace my cracked ones.

Do it at once, it'll save on labor costs.

You can go sportline+ (W124 Long Wheelbase/Limo/Cabrio front and 500e rear). I did, I LOVE it.

Yeah your right their pretty cheap, but how are they laborwise, or if I unbolt em from the top is that all I gotta do? I wanted to the suspension at once, so I can save time and money allignmentwise and just in general.. Since the mounts are the most critical, should I change those first? Then do the shocks and struts? The rear needs shocks too... But if I want to the springs as well of course its another job and access to bushings and joints are the the same or harder with a new suspension on?

Don't know, I didn't do any of the work on them.

I'd say get it all done at once.

Yeah ill try to get money for a while... Took me months to get a grand :x damn you school!
And sorry about the sentence structure everyone I'm typing from a phone.. Will take some cell phone pics and get some insight..

Saijin I thought you were using r129 components for your suspension and don't you have koni adjustables already? I'm trying to achieve a setup like sportlike in the future I guess.. Not too rough, but adds a bit to the driving feel
Btw whered you end up getting your swaybars?

Yeah, I know about school, in gradschool right now :P

Well, the 300ce does share some components with the r129 from the factory. However, I was looking into using r129 strut towers to get more upwards travel in my front, but I've since decided against it.

Yes, I just recently put in Koni Yellow + H&R Sports. I had completed the swaybar install sometime prior to the new suspension components.

Swaybars were purchased from buymbparts.biz

Ah I see and I'm guessing you already had all your joints and bushings taken care of prior lowering it and changing out strutss? Or since your on konis must be coils.. Well yeah I'm still undergradish.. But my boss super underpays me, should have worked this winter instead of schooling :x

Thanks for the site, will check It out when I get home and christ were you right the ce is slow! And has a drinking problem in comparison to the 400e/e420 or one of the guys who will touch my car in the future .. Brian sure uve heard of him.. He has a m119 ce and man does it fly!

For some reason my m103 pulled me back to the seat more.. Is it cause I had an exhaust that was facing down perhaps? Cause so much backpressure?
