Well I found out there were
Cabriolet 300 CE-24 Designated A 124 E 30/2
Between 1990 – 1993 a total of 6,343 made

So that's boils it down a little bit

My memory is useless, but think around 700 1993 Cabs came to THE USA,
including the silver one in the FIRM driven by Tom Cruise.
