Hello Everyone .. Yes the title is correct I have a 1997 W124 - E250D there were a few (Indian Made) W124s sold in India after production discontinued in Europe. I recently acquired this beauty from a friend of mine. The battery is shot and needs to be replaced .. can anyone tell me if a DIN 65 is the correct battery for this model? what else can you recommend .. I checked the manual but it does not give any information on the Amperage or the Battery specs any help would be appreciated.

The battery is a 12 volt 70 Ah capacity battery. If bought through MB it should cost you not less than Rs. 16500/- plus. Happy motoring.
