WE320 sunroof will not tilt. It will open however. Any advice as what to check?

There is a pair of lift arms that sadly break. Difficult but doable repair. Look in the FSM or use Search above to find threads to repair. There is definitely a thread at peachparts dot com & likely one at benzworld dot org.

My TE sunroof lifts with a creaking sound, so I don't use that position. I only open straight back until I can replace the lift arms.

Same on my 91 w124,looks like a ***** to fix from what I've read,but need to fix eventually
