300D much louder than normal...
Recently, my 1993 300D recently started maker more noise than normal...the diesel noise that the car used to make seems ALOT louder than it used to be. Also, when I am in any gear besides P or N, and stopped, the car shakes FUROCIOUSLY! ANy help would be greatly appreciated...

You might check your motor mounts. I had a similar problem on a Porsche 944. While the cars are very different, the 944 had a "hydraulic" motor mount that was a rubber bladder filled with oil. When they failed and leaked, the car would rumble at idle.

It's your motor mounts.
Your problem is with the motor mounts. This is a common problem. It should only cost about $250 USD to have them replaced. Have it done ASAP because the vibration can cause other problems if left unchecked.

I had the mounts replaced, no more problem, what are some other problems that may have been caused by this, just so i know how they happened, if they happen....thanks

Other potential problems
If you drove for awhile before having the mounts replaced you may want to reseat the fuses in the fuse box. My windshield wipers quit working and it turned out to be a loose fuse. I'm convinced the extraordinary shaking shook the fuse loose.
