Great looking CE

I'd like to get some monoblocks put on my TE (to look like this one)
Doubt if I'll find a body kit made for it

There's a set of 5 chromed ones in my area
like I had on my 190e 2.6
but their price is too rich for me. So I'll have to wait and see if they'll get lower over time,
since not many people want 17s anymore. 18s and 19s seem more common

It's all stock for now, except window tint.

I'm still undecided about the body colour bumper strips, but it looks great.

Agreed, i'm thrown off too, it looks unique... but with the black window trim, it could be the next fad!

So Ed! What sponsor stickers will you be affixing all over this poney...

Could go either way on the bumper strips as AMG would do whatever the client desired..
The Hammer WB in the AMG museum has body color impact strips...

Not biased a bit!

I am not repainting my impact strips to keep up with the Jones' plus I need all the contrast I can have so it doesn't look like a camry.

So start your trend, be all cool and chi but I ain't playin.

The car looks awesome! You do some very nice work. I see you are in Rehoboth, I was just in Milford 2 weeks ago at a friends place. Next time down I'd love to see your progress!
Thanks Bruce

The work is actually being done in Milford, on the bay side not far from the Merc dealership.....in the final stages after a long two and a half years...front end being assembled this weekend...all that's left on the exterior is the ducktail....interior needs a good cleaning from the dust of the years !!!!

94 Wagon and 94 Cabriolet
The combo of
original owner
low miles
superb detailed upgrade
makes this project beyond unique.

Love the way you've shared the progress too, as we are all dripping with anticipation. But lets not stop the sharing there...

When can I borrow the keys!?

99% !!!!

Trunk liners fitted and modified for the rear shock tower strut...

Front back together...Hella German headlights with wipers and French yellow driving light reflectors along with yellow bumper mounted driving lights...dark amber Euro corner lights
Have a couple of grille choices..all red, all black but decided on satin black with the stock chrome strips...

Ducktail on....

Very nice. The yellow is a nice contrast to the red.

Agree with your grill choice, a solid red grill would be too much red

The headliht wipers woud also look good if they were painted red.

Perfection. Beautiful work, Ed.

I'd have done the smoke/dark upper and red lower tail light style personally but that's pretty much the only thing I'd do different.

It only needs...... the pink slip with MY name on it.

I am now seeing the wisdom of body colour impact strips. I do like the contrast of the yellow lamps and dark satin radiator grille. Bravo.

I like a bit more black trim contrast against red as well.
But I wouldn't paint the head light wipers.
Maybe cover them with CF film.
