How to see if it is a sportline or not?

I just got my first MB. IT is a W124 - 300E from 1991 (according to title). It has a 3.0 liter engine (M103.983).

My questions for you:

What is the difference on a Sportline and a non-Sportline? How can I spot the difference?

What parts are interchangeable on a pre face-lift and a face-lift model. I can see the grill/hood and front lamps are different. How about the rest of the body? Interior? Drive-train?

I have been searching this site for days now without finding anything about it.
Hope some of you can help me.

Sportline should have the blue/silver badge on the front quarter panels. The steering box will be less turns from lock to lock than regular. The suspension should be slightly lowered, and a bit more stiff. You should have nicer front seats than the regular w124. Finally, you should have the 8-hole wheels instead of the 15ers.

Well, the hood and lamps are easy swaps and done commonly. Interior should be fully swappable as well. Drive-train, I think should be as well.

all that plus...

The steering wheel is a narrow at the bottom 4 spoke versus the standard 4.

Tried to post a pic but poof, didn't happen.

I kinda think that is a dead giveaway since that steering wheel is really hard to find in the U.S. at least. And probably the last thing someone who was converting from stock to sportline would try to do. (To those who know my sportline post i decided not to even try...)

They also put a sportline logo on the shifter, its typography is similar to the badges on the front quarters.

My genuine Sportline has the '15ers'. Sportline wheels are 7J and standard ones are 6.5.

Steering ratio is different as are many suspension components and other bits like roll-bars.

Wow, that is odd. I thought all the Sportlines here (in the US) came with the V8/8-holers.

Good to know that isn't always the case

Thanks to everybody! Then it seems as my car is a non-sportline. It was never told when I bought i the car. Just a comment from a guy at the local gas station. That made me wonder.
