Strut/shock question #13,456... v.sportline springs
Let me start with saying I have searched, and searched.
I only have some many years on this earth, so I'm all done with that.
Had recently purchased some sportline springs from member:Jayare.
Figured it would be silly to install these and not put new struts/shocks.
I am trying to figure out which bilsteins will complement these the best,
but cant seem to figure out which ones!!!!
So I was initially thinking go with the touring, I dont want to lose the nice ride, thats the reason I bought the car in the first place.
But then I wasnt sure if the sportline springs were actually low/stiff enough to require I higher dampening rate.
If someone does have the answer I am looking for, can you also please point me to the right part number, since all the sites I have gone to basically just list "bilstein front" and "rear" without really giving any hint to which is which.
THANKS!!

I think MB spent a few million researching your question - and came up with their solution.
A standard Sportline suspension in top nick will be beyond most peoples driving ability........

My choice would be standard Sportline shocks, very comfortable but you can drive very hard with them if you like. The key is to have all the rubber in top nick too.
Sachs part number 82 4904 553 229 for MB part number 124 320 6830.
Find out the MB part number for your car if it as above go buy this directly from Sachs with the above Sachs part number for the front.
Don't have the info for the rear sorry.

I've looked at Sachs as well, but again there are multiple rears and fronts.
I dont get why websites list these, and give you no info on why there are 4 different rears and 3 different fronts, and they are all different prices!!
