Has anyone done a multi-point EFI LPG on a M103 ?
Hi guys, Im new here, but figured Id go right in Im Daniel and she is 190E 2.6 M103 Kat-model we live in Eastern EU and Ive been thinking of going LPG, but I definitely do not want the open loop, single point system; its inefficient, dangerous and troublesome to boot.
So, Ive been toying with the idea of going with a multi-point EFI LPG setup, and why not ? why wouldnt it work ? The way I see things, you install the LPG injectors in the intake, right near the head, add the LPG's EFI ECU, connect it to the sensors and there you go ? no ? am I missing something ?
Now, I guess sequential injection wont happen, but at least a regular multipoint, ECU controlled LPG injection ?
This setup, if it works, would be a double improvement- one, of course the MPG or better said $/mile will improve; and two, the car will be converted to EFI without actually converting to EFI
Please let me know what your thoughts are and, if someone has done this, please post !
Best,
Daniel
