Question BIG problem!

Hey all, it seems as i always have dumb or simple questions but this one i cant seem to figure out and have been using the search feature. So no-matter wether my car is warm or cold..sometimes when i am slowing down to a stop, my car will act like it has died, giving me no throttle control, but the economy guage will still move when the throttle is activated, and the car will stay idling..as soon as i put the car in neutral the engine will finally die. now thats all one problem but when i go to restart the engine it will just crank..acting like it is either flooded or getting no fuel i cant forsure tell..and in order to get it started i have to hold the throttle to the floor..but not activating the W.O.T switch..sorry for the huge complicated story, but im lost and short on money..any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advanced guys!!!!

Your throttle actuation is mechanical, so as long as it is properly adjusted and not binding it will operate the throttle.

Start with the fuse(s) on top of the OVP and then the OVP itself..
The OVP does a whole lot of stuff that enables the M103 to start and run...

Best to start with the most proven problematic part and trouble shoot one step at a time.

Remember you have two separate systems..one controls ignition and the other fuel.

Not many inputs but they all tend to merge in some way at the OVP.

alright, i pulled the ovp, wrote down the part number and went into the dealership to order the parts, ordered it and when i went to go put it in, i noticed it wasnt the right part, although the corresponding part number was correct and the dealership said the part was correct, my ovp that i pulled has 7 pins, versus his having 9, it has the same shape also, but mine just doesnt have the last two pins, also instead of two fuses, mine only has one..am i crazy? or have you guys also ran into this problem? i also cant seem to find the part online that matches mine...

The new OVP you have is correct as it's the later version.
The single fuse, 7 pin was replaced by it and is no longer available.
It should plug in and don't worry about the extra 2 pins as they are used for functions that you don't have.
