Upgrading brakes e300TD with R129
Hey everyone haven't been on here in ages...
I was at my friends salvage yard and saw a r129 sl500 with a tarp over it. Everything was stripped clean but I glanced at the brakes and didn't think much of it. I guess I was zoned out or something but I do remember the calipers being on all 4 parts of the car and I don't think they were silvers as they didn't have drilled rotors on them.
I've been reading that you can swap the brakes and I would need 17'' tires to go along with it if I were to go about doing so.
My question is, is there a range of years on the sl500 that would be compatible with my car and other years that wouldnt?
And if the year is correct do I just need to take the calpiers or do I need other pieces as well? Brake booster, etc ( I'm going to pass on dealing with the dust guards as I heard the rear one is a pain in the a**.

If I recall correctly, the Master Cylinder isn't expressly needed, but can provide a more "snappy" bite and pedal feel.
