Stolen bonnet stars (hood emblem)
Last night I watched 3 kids steal my bonnet star emblem. 
I had to let them just walk away with it because I broke my arm last week and couldn't give them the kicking they deserved.
That's now 3 emblems in 2 years.
Do I hold some kind of record?

Broken arm or not, I would have gone outside and given them a verbal beating and then called the cops! Hell, I would have grabed my shotgun and gone outside and scared the **** out of them! I could be in a body cast and still run after the little punks for messin' with my car! I'm sorry about that man, that really sucks. Someone said this before, didn't this fad go out in the 80's??

yea i would have done something. I dunno what. Maybe follow them. since my arm broken iw ould call my boys. Or get the gun. Maybe i get in the car after and run them over. or call the cops. (doubt they would come in time). that really sucks man.

Thanks for the replies, you've cheared me up!
I followed them for a while to see if they lived locally but they saw a car's headlights and did a runner thinking it was a cop car.
I'm 6'2" and 230lbs but I fight like a girl with my left arm! It's bad enough loosing the emblem but being beeten up by three spotty teenagers would have been too much.
I guess things are different in the US regarding the police. Over here they don't respond to 999 (911) calls unless it's serious. If they don't come out then no crime was committed. If they turn up they have to log it and it ruins their crime statistics. I found out that my neighbours called the police about 5 minutes before my wife did because the same kids smashed up a phone box and tried to break into the church at the end of the road. 3 crimes in one night would be too much for the stats so they didn't show.
This is supposed to be a good area (I'm beginning to think that Plymouth doesn't have any)
