400e Brakes 300e ABS

400e Brakes 300e ABS
So i've been pondering about the idea of the 4 piston calipers from the 400e to put on my 300e, and one thing that leaves me to disregard is the abs sensor. I know for a fact that i've gotten the abs sensors from a earlier generation, '92 and up, and they where no were near compatible to the '88 300e. The width and lengths are different on the magnetic end and the wire connectors do not fit. Has anyone come across this threshold?
And since i have you hear, what size wheels would i need to fit over the calipers?

No mention about ABS issues though.
