Do you think is worth it to bring this car to Canada for 10 000 Euro.
I need your opinion.

W124 CE / W210 facelift?

That car looks very nice. It looks like the older W124 CE with ground effects and the W210 front facelift. I suppose it was repainted too. It looks good, but that is a lot of work to modify the car and I would be suspicious about the car’s history, in terms of service and previous accidents. If you did all of those modifications and you love the unique look, then it would be worth it. I don’t think you will find another one that looks like that. Then again, you could just buy a regular W124 or CLK when you get to Canada.

Import into Canada

You better check before you try to import that car into Canada. I was going to bring a 1996 in from the US. At the last minute I made a call to MOT in Toronto who referred me to Canada Customs and Excise who said "...that year is not allowed....no matter what you do to it you will not be able to register it in Canada..!!" Surprise surprise...but that's the truth. So look before you leap.

Import into Canada

I allready bought two 300 ce's from Germany last year and I had no problems at the Canadian border. I paid some taxes and registration fees. This car is from Germany and the owner spent a lots of money. I like bringing coupe's from Europe because I bought them only with 5 speed manual transmision.

WOW, that's like only $6000 for a coupe! (US$) I wonder how difficult it would be to get a euro>canada import into the states...

Although I'm not too crazy about the front end... Could you send me more pics to archiele@cableone.net ? After the deer totalled my 300e, I'm really interested in getting another Benz... in fact, I'm going up to Boise on friday to look into what is all available, and if I would like a newer model...

I will try to post more pictures. I don't like the hood myself, but I am planing to get the '93 and up hood and headlights and trade or sale the old one ( if I am not selling the car).

Well dealer in Boise only had newer models... If I don't find a 124 that I like, I may be forced into the nice c230k though...looking for mid Feb as a goal to have another car by.

Is there more info on this car ?? 5-speed tranny ?? motor ?? Depending on the setup, it may be worth Euro 10,000
