280 W124? Thoughts?
Hello Gentlemen -
I am a newby and looking for some guidance!
My first car was a '79 240D. Over the years - I have regretting selling it.
I am at that point in my life where I have the ability to purchase another 123 to enjoy on the weekends.
Here this past week I came across a 280e. The 4-door sedan is running and driving. Needs paint and there is water in the floorboard ... No major rust - just seems like the rear glass seal is leaking.
Bottom line - it's $1000 and I can't find allot of information on the 123 with the straight 6.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Worth $1000?
