i was able to get the fans fixed. They do come on when the temperature reaches 100. I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic today, i slowly saw my temperature reach 120 on the dial. I was able to pull into a gas station and sit for a hour before continuing home. I have to take the car back to the mechanic on Monday.
The mechanic when fixing the fans said the dryer bottle in the car was not the right one. He recommended replacing the dryer bottle and AC switches. He told me the person who previously worked on the car had no clue as to how to connect the wires to the dryer bottle. He told me they were connected incorrectly. Also, I noticed my oil pressure drop. Pressure is falling below 1. I don't know what this means and the car is stalling a bit.

The wiring to the A/C switches is for refrigerant pressure. When these switches are activated at a specific pressure, the first stage of the electric auxilary fans comes on.
If the oil pressure is dropping below 1 during normal cruising, you have a problem with the lubrication system. Don't drive!!!! If the engine is stalling it's probably because the components are seizing!!! BTW, the units on the oil pressure gauge are 'bars'. 1 bar=~15psi.
