E 320 cabrio 1993
Niesnies
Hi. I am a new owner of an old (1993) Mercedes E 320 cabriolet. I have an E number: WDB1240661B91658. and I am trying to find out where it was made and where it went when it came out of the factory.

Either there is a typo or you got screwed or both--MB VIN's have a 17 alpha numeric string----when I put your 16 string VIN in EPC it states error in sequence.
Have I counted incorrectly and or how-----In what democratic country did you get the vehicle registered ??

Originally from Japan, I think. It was then imported to Holland and I am picking it up from there. Will look at the number on the car itself, when I pick it up.

Well you better ask for conformation, because what do you think is going to happen when you go to register the car---in any event I can't help without the correct information!!

Thank you very much. To have all that information from just a number. Does it mention a dealer?? By any chance. I am looking forward to Saturday to drive the car and I might have just a little more information.:
