Matching Panels
Hey,
I looking to get rid of my two tone effect for my car. I am looking into the price and labor associated with this. So far my independent mechanic said he would most likely be able to do it for around 400 including everything. Does this seem like a good price.
P.S. Since it will be a great deal more difficult to hide the dirt, not that there is much anyway, where would i be able to find a set of splash guards/mud flaps for both the front and the rear.

Mercedes-Benz 400E
Is he going to paint them or buy black panels?
At the Meguiars event there was a 500E their that was solid black, and it was all original. It was a special order I think, looked very good.

300TE / 300E / 300CE
I've never seen mud guards for the 300E even for the 4matic but if you really want them I'm sure you can find some that will fit at a general auto parts store. They'll probably look cheap so just make sure they do good prep work and you get quality paint to hold up to the road rash. The all black body should look great with the thin chrome strip. The gray bottom panels already match charcoal grey or pearl black on my cars.
